I’m Gia, founder of Shakti’s Breath. I create clothing that makes you feel unstoppable.

Born in Trieste, Italy, I was surrounded by art and fashion from a young age. My grandmother, a seamstress, taught me that clothing is more than just fabric—it’s power, expression, and identity.

In 2010, driven by a deep need for reinvention, I moved to Mexico. Living among indigenous Maya tribes for 11 years, I immersed myself in their ancestral wisdom, learning from their deep connection to nature, spirit, and the sacred art of organic dyeing—Azul Maya. This journey of transformation awakened something in me: a desire to create more than just clothing. I wanted to craft pieces that serve as reminders of our true power—more self, less ego.

And so, Shakti’s Breath was born.

The first collections came to life in India, where I sourced organic silks and designed each piece with purpose. No plastic, no waste—just bold, intentional designs that embody strength, freedom, and the untamed spirit. As my journey evolved, so did my creations—each collection reflecting the raw and free essence of transformation and self-expression.

In 2020, I moved to Ibiza, where I found the perfect fusion of my influences—the ancient wisdom of the Maya and the free-spirited, untamed energy of Ibiza’s lifestyle. This vibrant island, a melting pot of creativity and liberation, continues to inspire my designs and deepen the soul of Shakti’s Breath.

Now, with production rooted in Bali and Mexico, Shakti’s Breath is more than a clothing line—it’s a movement. It’s for those who live unapologetically. For the rebels, the travelers, the wild hearts who are always evolving.
